The 2026 Petaluma Valley Little League Season is almost here! I would like to take a few moments and introduce myself as the Umpire-in-Chief of Petaluma Valley. This will be my fifth year as part of Valley, my fourth year on the board, and second year as your Umpire-in-Chief (UIC). As in years past, we have relied on our fantastic group of both Adult and Youth Umpires to help facilitate games. This year is no different. We are looking for Umpires who are willing to contribute their time, to keep the games going. If you are willing and interested in participating as an Umpire, please reach out to me. Even just a few games would be greatly appreciated.

1. Umpire Clinic

For those who are new or returning, District 35 is hosting a Mechanics (on field) Umpire Clinic on Saturday, February 14th 2026 at 9:00am until 2:00pm on Petaluma National's Carter Field. If you are interested in umpiring, you must attend the clinic.

2. Rules Clinic

There will also be a two night online 60' Rules Clinic via zoom on February 25th and 26th, 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
