Hello Valley and Valley Alumni!

We have a message from former Valley player, Camden Bushey:

My name is Camden Bushey. I am a Petaluma Valley alumnus, Casa Grande Sophomore, and Boy Scout of Troop 8. I am partnering with Valley to complete my Eagle Scout project with a plan to install shade over the bleachers at Murphy Field.

Over the next few weeks we will be gathering donations to fund the project and looking for volunteers to help with planning, providing tools/equipment, and assisting with the actual project. We will be asking for donations of materials from places like Friedman's, Wilco, Tractor Supply, etc. If you have connections to these businesses or any others in the community that would be willing to donate either materials or funds, please let me know.

Camden Bushey

For many years, the Valley Board has discussed putting shade over the Murphy Field bleachers to help parents and families through the summer baseball months. When Camden approached us, we immediately knew it was a great idea and we want to help him get this long-overdue project going. 

The plan is to install the shade structure on February 26th, the day after Cap Night, and a week before the 2023 season begins. You can help!

Volunteers: We will need volunteers to help with the planning and installation on project day.

Tools/Materials: We will need access to tools for installation, and materials.
